What is a client closet?

As a Newborn, Maternity and Family portrait photographer I know it can be very time consuming and nerve wracking trying to shop for a dress for your session. So, as a complimentary service to my clients, I have carefully curated a collection of high quality dresses and gowns in various styles, colors and textures fitting sizes XS-XXL for you to borrow for your session. From dramatic full gowns to more simple and casual dresses, you’re sure to be able to find something you like for your session.

Will the dresses fit me?

I have items that will fit size XS-XXL. Most of the items in my client closet are designed with high quality thick but stretchy material and can accommodate a range of sizes quite nicely. To ensure a great fit I will often clamp the dress in specific areas to suit your body and accentuate your gorgeous curves (don’t worry, they’re not visible in your images). Because of this, many maternity gowns can be worn for other session types and vice-versa.

Do you offer men’s and kids clothes in your client closet?

At this time I only have items for women and a few select items for girls (aside from newborn outfits). Thankfully, once you’ve picked your outfit, it’s usually not as difficult to find outfits for men and/or children that compliment yours. But I do intend to eventually add more pieces to my client closet for men and children that will compliment my current collection and style. 

What are your favorite brands?

For children, I like Janie and Jack, Zara, Joyfolie and Dollcake.

Most of the gowns and dresses in my client closet are from Sew Trendy, Katharina Hakaj, Ana Brandt, Silk Fairies, Mii Estilo and Baltic Born.

What if I have a specific gown in mind that I don’t see in your client closet? 

The Gown Trade In Program allows you to purchase a new dress for your session and when the session is done you can trade it in for a print credit. This is dependent on the designer, style, size and color of the gown you have in mind. Not every gown will be a candidate for the Gown Trade In Program so be sure to check with me first.
